After graduating from LCC I would like to continue with my noise performance practice using no input mixing board, guitar pedals and feedback. Although it was stressful, I really enjoyed the Corsica studios gig and last year Tata and I did a couple improvised performances at Gallery 46, Old Church Stoke Newington and Avalon café which I miss. We have planned to release recordings we have done but still haven’t got round to it.
As for getting new gigs I am still unsure how to do so unless an opportunity is handed to you like showcases and open mics or doing it with friends. I am interested in putting myself further out there and engaging more with the noise scene in London such as with events like Earworm. I feel I could do this by establishing a presence and releasing more music online. My bandcamp is in dire need of updating with more recent projects and I should upload and make things public on youtube. I have also been thinking of releasing less produced stuff onto soundcloud I could even start a practice of random weekly improvisations or something. Also I could and probably should have started an artist Instagram to separate my personal and work stuff. In general I need to work on my documentation skills, although setting up a basic website on hotglue for this module has really pushed me in the right direction and made me realise that it is not that difficult. I originally thought I would only use this website for this handin but now feel like updating it and working on it further. I really like the DIY almost unprofessional aesthetic too.
